Attorney Mike Cleary brings strong expertise in regulatory and quality affairs, plus R&D management and new product development, from careers in the food ingredients and nutraceutical industries. He has been involved in the launch of two ground floor start-up businesses and countless new product launches during his career. He has most recently directed R&D, QA and Regulatory Affairs for Nutrition Now, Inc., a manufacturer of natural vitamins and herbal products for men, women, children and pets; before that he held executive level positions with Natrol, East Earth Herb and Imperial Sugar Company. He is the author of dozens of scientific papers and patents, has served the American Chemical Society on its National Program Committee, Carbohydrate Division as well as a Section Chair, and was adjunct professor of total quality management at the University of Texas. Mike is a seasoned Scientific Affairs Executive with solid regulatory experience, technical expertise and management know-how in product development, technical marketing, business process improvements, effective engineering of cross-functional teams and consensus building, a skilled communicator who develops and motivates productive teams and establishes effective working relationships with scientists and non-scientists alike. |
